APSCON (Australian Photographic Society Convention)

APSCON 2010 is being held in Roma, where there will be many photographic opportunities including historic homesteads, Australia’s largest cattle salesyards and spectacular sunsets. MISR - A Photographic Exploration of Egypt Experience much of what Egypt has to offer as participants in the 2009 Egypt excursion share a selection of their photographic work with you. The exhibition will take you from Abu Simbel to Alexandria through dazzling desserts and down the deadly Nile while conveying a sense of the contrast in culture and diversity of its people. Hopefully this exhibit will inspire you with its account of Pharonic sites, souks, Mt Sanai region and even tempt you to consider next years trip. The exhibit runs from August 7 - 14 at the Project Gallery in the Webb Centre Building Griffith University’s Southbank Campus at 226 Grey Street, Brisbane  with the official opening 6.30pm Sat the 7th of August.
